Bought a 9000lbs two post Ford Smith(220 volt commercial unit, Canadian Made hoist) and was hoping to find some info on the lag length to use. This was a used purchase so no info came with it other than the manual on how to use the thing. Does anyone have a web site that they can maybe suggest that might help?

Thanks

Thanks

Same web site I found . But it has no info on lag bolt size . I'll keep looking.

Call them....... They sure don't want one of there's to fail even if it's installed wrong...I wouldn't want the press. They should tell you.

Mike...

How thick is your slab?
Most are app. 4" pours, so any lags longer than that are going to be over-kill.
Check it out, it may require additional support. I don't know just thinking out loud...

Thanks Everyone
I did call and they said they would come over and install it for $350.00
The lags are like $ 20 bucks x 12 each so i'll let them do it.
My slab is 7 inches and where the hoist is going it's 9 inch. The garage is 4200 sq feet.
