I went to the 2015 event. Havent been there since 94. I have no idea why i stopped going. I had a blast. The people i met were close friends by the time i left. Everyone is so polite. Those cars are soo much faster than they were in 94. I found old friends there too. We partied pretty hard friday night after the races. What a HOOT!

Ill say that i drove 12 hrs each way to go last year just as a spectator. I plan to go again this year. Lots of racing, neat guys. Lots of neat cars. A Buick car show. Lots of parts. All in all a great time. I may take the car this year.

It is just a blast to meet everyone. These cars and the people that own them are different than the normal cruise night bracket race crowd. It was so much fun to see everyone. Made some new friends and I am going back this year.

BG is a must attend ....
The track is great, the people are better. Food being cooked at multiple places in the pit areas and vendors. Getting to meet new friends and putting faces to screen names . racers helping racers. The stands are covered to keep spectators out of the sun ( or rain...).
It's a great time.

Racing and vendors good.
Show sucks.
IMO they should open the show to anything but keep the racing and vendors Buick turbo related. Opening the show to all makes would get more people and then they could see and get hooked on the GNS on the track. The GN crowd is getting older so to keep it alive new people need to be introduced in some way.

local car show meets are a dime a dozen and happen every weekend everywhere with all different makes and models. its a BUICK event for a reason..... no one wants a bunch of ricers hanging out with their fart cans smh. no one is interested in MORE ppl, their interested in BUICKS which is why its a BUICK event.

the GN crowd isn't getting old. their are plenty of dudes joining all the time in their early 20's. in fact, anytime I take out my GN its the kids in their teens, 20's and early 30's who even know wat my GN is.

Wow a response from my dad. Here's an idea if you don't want ricers make it American made...that was difficult. And if you don't think the gn crowd is diminishing your kidding yourself. That's the whole goal is to keep it alive..........

I have to respectfully disagree, way too many all makes races and car shows for me now. I want to see Buicks and talk to people that own Buicks. Lots of youth in the Buick world. I was there this year and the Boostcrew and many other were all from a younger demographics. It's about quality not quantity. I could care less to see another Camaro or Mustang.

You wont be disappointed. I’ve attended pretty much every year since 2002. I believe they post a schedule of events on the board somewhere. Not quite sure if they have it all planned out yet tho.
