Br2 & shift kit hard 1 2 shift

I have a 2004r with a shift kit that was installed 10 years ago when the car was not mine ,the trans upshifts and downshifts at the right speeds and there is a (very very) slight clunk when downshifting into first .....BUT I do not like the 1 2 bang shift at minimum throttle ,I do know i have a longer TV spring ,would installing the 1.900 inch stock brf tv spring help 1 2 shift or am i wasteing my time.....line pressure 275 psi

What servo do you have.Do you know if the 1-2 accum. hole is blocked?

servo is a CK servo and i do not know if it has a cushion spring ,,and the 1 2 acc had a plug in it with a small hole drilled ,,i drilled out the plug and it helped a bit but 1 2 shift is still to hard

What is your line pressure at minimum T.V. ? Changing back to the stock T.V. spring may help depending on what's in there now.

HI ,its nice to see some one is onTB on sunday...lol ,,min tv is about 90 to 100 in OD, i have no 2nd gear starts and tv spring is longer than the white stocker but i did not measure it when i installed it and i am not sure there is a cushion spring on CK billit purple servo but all downshifts are normal NO BANG...THANKS FOR TRYING TO HELP ME..O..I am a bit nervous about pulling out servo to check for a cushion spring and then i will not be able to align pin and band
