Just wanted to let everyone know how extremely satisfied I am with my "Brian's (Brian Hofer) 2004-R tranny. This thing has been nothing short of AWESOME since installed 6 mos. ago. Nice-firm shift on the street( but not neck snapping)......and fast and hard at the track. My GN is a street/strip car and this tranny has proven to be the best I've had. So far I've got about 400 street miles and 40 or so 1/4 mile passes on it. Running consistant 10.8-11.00's. It feels like this trans is shifting better every 1/4 mile pass I make !!
Great Trans !! .............Great Guy ! He was very patient & was willing to spend time answering all my questions to insure my trans was built JUST the way I wanted it. I highly recommend Brian if you're in the market for a new tranny!

My 1st GN,
I am using a 9/11 L/up converter. Car weighs 3585# w/ me in it. I've been fine tuning my combo for a few years. You CAN do it too. Use C-16 race fuel, 30# boost, and don't tolerate ANY knock if you want your engine to live. You'll need to 60 ft. around1.50 sec. Good luck .

The "TINMAN"

Actually, you need 60fts in the 1.4x`s to run like Al!! :D

The combo he is running works very well indeed. The car hooks so hard the input shaft broke during the finals at Norwalk`s Buick Raceday. Having a combo pushed like this is very hard on parts but the poor little "stock" drum is hangin` tight.

Keep up the great work Al... And Thank You for your kind words.
Oh yeah, you will also need a Tin Man cold air kit! ;)
