The hard lines from the transmission to the cooler at the front of the car broke, right over top of the crossmember next to the oil pan. I was wondering what my options are as far as replacing them, AN fittings with braided steel, pipe fittings and rubber hose, whats the best choice? If it helps, I have an F-body radiator with an external B & M cooler mounted in front of it, and the radiator cooler and external cooler are mounted in a loop together, per the diagram on gntype.org. Thanks for any advice!

i made my own from auto parts store 6' pipes, use power steering return hose, double clamps, works for me! HTH

thanks elcamino. My car is parked at my brother's house, so I can't go measure the fittings, can anyone tell me exactly what size fittings i will need to screw onto the transmission and screw into the radiator?

Cut an inch or two of bad pipe out of the line.

Put a piece of 5/16" fuel injection hose over each end once any burrs are filed off inside and outside of the pipe ends.

Double clamp each side if you want to and then slit some 3/4" heater hose and enclose the splice and cable tie it securely to something that moves the same as the pipes.

Then go drive it....

Make up new braided lines or new hard lines at your leisure like 1-2 years down the road. ;)
