WOW!!
I was JUST thinking about him last week as well.

As a newbie, I read a lot of post from Bruce.
Many HEATED post  , but he always kept his cool and, as stated, I think we all learned something from him in the end. Whether about cars or life.

The only person I ever saw post tons of "real life" data.
RIP Bruce ............ I don't think we will forget you!

Look here for his final post and others as well.

I had never seen this post before today. I just knew that I missed Bruce and hadn't seen his posts in many months, so I searched this out.

R.I.P. Bruce and thanks for all your help.

i know this is an old thread and i apologize for bumping it.

i was reading one of razor's threads and a subject reminded me of bruce. i went looking for his account to see if he still posted here and stumbled across this.

:frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:

what a true loss to this community. since i have been out of the scene it seems we have lost many great individuals due to age, sickness and even simply waning interest in the hobby.

bruce's unconventional ideas always piqued and held my interest for weeks on end... i love trying to look at things outside of the box and try controversial methods just as he did... many many belated condolences to his family and friends.

Yep.

He was quite the mad scientist. I remember him converting a intercooled motor to a hot air to see if he could get around some intercooler heat soak problems. It blew my mind that when we were trying to tune with the most octane we could get. He'd be playing around with how far he could push a tune with 87 oct:eek: . He had a passion of thinking outside the box like no one else. He also got us to expand our thinking. His threads were some of the best threads ever.

Great bump for a great guy.

Mike B.
