Anyone heard from Steve? I left him a message offering my services or planning skills if they were needed. Hope he is doing well.

The Bates sight has the event scheduled with an updated flyer for this year....

I just sent a PM to him (Steve)

letting him know help is available,
and asking if he would like some assistance, ( I'm volunteering SD Slider) (LOL)
I'll post his reply, ( if and when)

Hey Lee! That "left over rice" has been in the slow cooker for a long time now. Will be it be ready in time for the show? I'm hungry..:p

probably not.....

as you know, good rice takes time.:D

I was at Donnie Wangs yesterday, had him doing some mods to my T400.
nothing wrong, just improving what I had, I'd say next week should look like a car again.

and you? is the teriaki almost done?

Since it is a TOYOTA, I decided it might be a good idea to put some new brakes on it just in case the throttle sticks.

Hey Scott

you need a wing on your rice rocket,
donnie is thinking about one and it has stirred up a hornets nest!
and then there is the issue of a powerglide, EVERYONE knows you go faster with a 3 speed,

Scott, I'll build a nine foot high top fuel wing for you. See if we can cruch those tires down to the rim. Hoorah!!!

they never touch the ground ! LOL

Donnie. did you see the carbon fiber trunk lid for sale?
I'm sticking with the stock lid. I need the weight back there.

Part came in. Unit is ready for pickup.

Ahhh, good ol' traction control. CHEATER!

If you think that's cheating.... This Laser measures ride height distances from 50mm(1.97 inches) to 350mm(13.77 inches), with a 0.03mm to 0.42mm resolution and a response time of 900μs. The output from the sensor is a single analogue channel(0-5 volt) which can be fed to a data logger or ecu for correction. 12 volts and a ground and a wire back to your ecu. Connect it to a ignition channel to pull timing or trip a rev limiter. This is the most accurate way of determining ride height on any surface.
No more wheelie bars.
