I'm getting ready to pull my short block and get it built. I'm wondering if anyone has a good short block already done with forged pistons and good parts.

Thanks

Pretty nice. Why are you selling? Any paperwork documenting the build?

No paper work other than the camshaft. Unless you wana tare it down which is fine with me. All the machine work was done by a friend of mine who owns a machine and engine race shop. I did all the assembly myself. All clearances are on the the money. The reason I'm selling is it's a spare and I need the money to go faster with my other car.

It does sound like a good deal. I may be interested but i'm weighing a few different options right now. Without paper work I always worry about things like Head surface, Stripped studs/bolts, balance issues, pump gear clearance and other stuff like that. I'm also wondering who made the steel crank and what brand Cam?

It's a 109 block. Your right Mike I got the cam kit from y'all. Comp cam. It also has new head studs. No stripped bolts all arp fasteners. Except the rod bolts there Carrillo at 28 dollars a piece. The crank is a early cat 3.4 stroke. The rods are 6.3. Any more questions I'll be glad to answer. Thanks David.

Damn that's a good price! Wish I wasn't mid move right now; I'd sell what I have and just pick this fella up...

I have $2k in block, crank, and rods, and they aren't machined yet!:wideyed:

Androboost4 , Why did you rate my post #9 for bad spelling? Is this something new? You only have 5 posts here.
