Buying my 86 TType back

New to forum but not to Buicks. I bought my 1986 TType in 1997, sold it in 2001 personal income reasons. Now I'm buying it back, lucky for me my step dad was who bought. The car hasn't changed much, he has only drove it about 3500 miles in all the years. So I feel there will be some freshen up to do, trying to remember my previous parts. Just bolt ons but ready to continue, and I see lot has changed in ten years on buick scene.

I'm in the same boat as you are. I had a 87 GN in highschool and sold it about 2001. I just bought it back from the same guy that bought it from me. He did drive it and he did quite a few improvements. I've slowly lurked on this site for the past 13 years and also had a 86 GN between 2004-2007.

You are right also about how much things have changed. But, this is the best site hands down to get all the info you need. Even a lot of the vendors will reply to Private Messages. Enjoy your car...I know I am!!!

Wow he only put 3500 miles on it in all that time. Great for you. There's plenty of cars I wish I could buy back. Search for "spring cleaning" on the forums, very useful info.
