It's brand new OEM. It seems to be ok for now. I had disconnected the fuel pump and the orange power cord to the ECM so it wouldn't crank while I was kicking the engine over to get to 25 ATDC and I think it just needed some time to get everything back in check.
Thanks for the links. I've read all I could find on the web about it.
I removed the old sensor, but before I did I marked everything I could with a dab of paint so it could all be lined up again if needed. I removed the cap from the sensor before pulling it completely out. I then put a piece of tape across it so it wouldn't turn so much and so I would be able to keep it as close as possible to where it was. I took pictures as well. I then removed the sensor. I took the new sensor and lined up everything just like the old sensor and reinstalled. I had the dot on the bottom facing the passenger side and the wires for the cap facing the driver's headlight. I put it all back together then fired it up. It took a little bit to crank but I think it was because of the fuel pump being disconnected.
