The question is: Can a sensor be hooked up to log the driveshaft on an GEN7?

If so how does one go about doing this...

If not what options are there to accomplish this.

The "new" wideband/data logger box has a VSS provision. The one that was released around 2006.

Can my box be upgraded to this? Or is this an entirely different "box"?

Back when i was having all sorts of problems with my box, it was upgraded, but I can't remember the version now off the top of my head....

It's not the ECM that will do it. It's a wideband brick that has more I/O on it and data logging capabilities built into it. I don't remember the part number.
