Can denatured go bad?

Quick question.

Does alcohol go bad? I bought some denatured alcohol last June and was wondering if it is still going to be good this year. Someone told me that it can go bad and gets a brownish tint to it.

The stuff I bought was from Home Depot, came in the gallon size paint thinner type metal can, about half of it left.

Won't go bad unless left opened, or contaminated in another container, or in a rusty container.
