Well they are now predicting a 1.10 Canadian dollar by next year. Time to start ordering parts from the US. Some US vendor will get my busineess for sure, but if you ship UPS I can't order from you , so re-think your business practices if you ship to Canadians that way.

I would say 90%+ of Canadian GN/TR owners will not order from a vendor or private sale that ships UPS , myself included . Brokerage fees are a joke !!!!!!!!!! when the brokerage fees are almost the same as the value of the part you know there's a problem . That's the first thing I ask before ordering a part , if they will ship USPS , or FedEX instead of UPS . I know sometimes it maybe a PIA for the vendor . But , it's also a pain to get my ass out of bed every morning to go to work and make money for these parts as well . so why give it away to UPS .

With Oil prices so High, I was wondering why it was still so low.

They are our #1 oil importer and will be for the future.

Funny you're talking about this.

I just got my set of 60 lb injectors yesterday and after all the various fees, taxes ect... are paid they will have cost me almost $600 to get, (with exchange).

Foolish on my part. Should have just bought some used ones.

Of course it did'nt help that the vendor listed the WHOLE value on the forms.

Racetronix's is the best the deal around when it comes to injectors, andlocated on this side of the border too. I know its easy to say now after the fact. UPS has to make $50 for 30 seconds of paperwork. I am in the wrong job for sure after seeing that

I'm one of those who feel the same way. I want to buy the parts, but hate giving my hard earned money to UPS for basically nothing. Double the price of your parts and see how you would feel.
Most vendors I have talked to about this, say that the hassle is having to go, or send an employee to the post office and that takes time out of the day. I don't know if they do this, but can't an account be set up with th PO like with UPS, where pick up is arranged?
I hope some of the vendors chime in here. There is a pretty good market here North of the border.

Paul
