Is there any difference between one place or another? Is the Jet coating process different then a typical ceremic coating from a performance shop?

There are many different temperature ratings, that's about the only difference aside from color.

I don't think so. The thermal coating needs to be the right one for the temps that are going to be seen.

I used both G-Force and Jet-Hot with no ill effects. When I was picking my stuff up from G-Force, the thermal coating guy told me the place he gets his coating from.

I use Techline for ceramic material supplier. They are very good......
Thermal coatings also.

All seems the same, just color variation. FWIW the Sterling "extreme" from Jet-Hot doesn't seem to like being on a downpipe though:mad:

Ok, good info. Thanx. I have noticed some offer ceramic coatings in different colors as some do not. I dont quite understand why that would be if the process is the same everywhere.

Billy, GForce told me they could not do a ceramic coating in grey? I am doing everything else in gun metal gray and wanted to do the DG/Headers the same similar color. I really dont want to have to ship all that stuff out to someone.

The cast iron color guard is a darker grey.
Best pick I have. You can have it done local.
