Anyone experience a failure with these?? Went to the track today and was simply driving home when this occured... Luckily it doesn't appear as if the rocker is hurt that much, Gonna go with some ARP ones....

Very common. Tom for I guess cost doesnt use ARP studs and they break, Ihave seen it a half dozen times. Replace all with ARP and rock on

Right now I do not have a warm fuzzy feeling....same setup as mine.....:(
Hope all is well.

Great run man !!!

Bryan

Not sure of the part number but go on jegs and order the arp ones for a sbc with 7/16 studs.
Happened to me and a few others.

Ah.... looks easy enough to measure up. I'll post some info here if I get it done later.

I read about this issue on here, switched to ARP before I ever even started the engine. You will see an obvious quality difference if you just visually compare the standard issue studs to the ARP units.

i would think by now Champion must know of this problem.
Are they still selling their new heads with these studs ?
Do the t/a heads come with the arp studs ?

The heads don't come with studs.
