I've been looking for a Wilton for some time now. I have a Columbian, bought at auction, but no local retailer's are carrying the best vise on the market.
Yeah Shane, you just think it's steel! China sucks, period. When people finally wake up and realize that for a few dollars more, they can make single purchases instead of short term replacement society throw aways, we'll ALL be better off!
Try looking at Home Depot for a Wilton vise. Not sure what size you are looking for, but they do carry them there. Well at least the HD in my area does.
I was looking at some new wrenches at Sears and they said made in China on the wrench WTF !! I always thought they were made in USA, some still are but when did they start selling these ? I couldnt believe it

Sears? It's K-Mart now.
It is really pitiful, we were trying to take a bolt off the back of a BMW 7 series fan assembly... It is amazing to me the bolt, wrench, and base of the fan never flinched and this damn thing snapped in half
The Germans and the Chinese have a long history of not getting along. This may be a deeper conspiracy.
