I live here in the northeast & was wondering if other parts of the country have what I am about to explain.

We have a couple of circle tracks up here that have 1 vs 1 drags that spectators can enter. One place is www.seekonkspeedway.com.

These races draw in some NICE IRON. Very fun to watch. Generally they never have accidents & the rules are very strict.

Do they do this in other parts of the country?

Would you subject your TR to this?

LMAO Greg. I would love to have the Kleenex booth there. Would be a large amount of tears in that crowd.

The concept is a great idea I think. Problem is, I wouldn't run anything I wasn't willing to sacrifice. I am not aware of such events out here on the West Coast, but it may just not have the exposure yet.

Having pulled pace car duty at my old local track I would love to do this with my GN. You say strick rules? I assume everything but a bar/cage. Other tracks I have seen all you needed was a helmet, seat belt, long pants and a jacket. It's a very controlled event, if you get to close or act like an idiot trying to cause a wreck you get kicked out for good. I can see me now, powersliding through a corner like I was WOO sprint car. To bad we dont have this down here in FLA with all the great tracks around.
