How much did this build cost you roughly?]

That was my question too, i have a friend thinkin' of going the same route that you just did. His car just turned 100k and he'd like to freshen it up, nothing crazy. What did it cost you to do a stock rebuild? I told him about this thread so hopefully he'll chime in. Good work 87, thanks for taking the time to document your rebuild

RE: COntact

You can E-mail me if you want ,or putit on private message. This tooth thing is going to take longer than I'd like to wait.
So let's get on with it. The Motor I mean. Thanks so much........Rob

what would range be. you can keepthis private. Thanks for getting back

Any updates?I'm curious to see how no align hone on the mains worked out.:)

Nope. The motor is now sitting in my bedroom keeping warm hahah. Its going to be a while before its in the car i have to finish the frame off.

I dont think the mains will be a problem. The only thing chaged was the bolts, the caps are exactly the same as well as the crank and std bearings.

Hey Tyler, its Drews friend Donny, Hope to see u out this spring with the car.

Hey man how are you. Unless i get like 5 grand to put the thing back together, i may be rockin the hard hittin 240sx this summer again haha.

I dont think the mains will be a problem. The only thing changed was the bolts, the caps are exactly the same as well as the crank and std bearings.

That makes perfect sense to me. They're still indexed the same as they were. If the torque values are higher, that could change things.
Is there a thread here that explains why studs change the bores?

I hear u there. My trannys out with a leak behind the converter plus im about to pull the motor for a refresh. Then i need to pull my Typhoon motor cuz one of the holes are hurt. Great winter truck lol.....So dont feel down buddy it could always be worse lol. Give me a call if u need help or if anthing is going on.

I have never seen one. The crank spun very nicely when assembled and i went with stock torques.
