Also got to meet Rev. Ronnie from Lizard Lick Towing. He performed the service. He was such a nice guy and performed a beautiful service for Jay and Erica! He is as down to earth and nice as anyone I have ever met!

Good luck to both of you and remember, divorce lawyers can't be kept on retainer.

speechless !!! poor girl has no idea what she just got herself into. :p

Congrats on getting hitched! I have to say though, I've never seen guys in spandex at a wedding before.

Thanks, everyone!

This is actually both of our second time around so hopefully we know the ropes.

We got married at the Eastern NC MS-150 charity bike ride. Ronnie Shirley did perform the ceremony and afterwards him and Shane talked towing setups. I heard Shane asking "Why dont you use a scissors somethingorother" and started laughing in my head. Ronnie did a great job, tremendously better than I expected. Him and Amy came down and it was great to have them there. We're taking some wedding cake by for them in a few minutes.

This was quite an experience. I expected to get married and that be the end of it but we were like celebrities all day. We came into the banquet room in the evening to an ovation, that started with 1 or 2 people clapping as we walked through the room and by the time we reached the area where our cake was, there were probably 1000 people clapping for us. All day long I heard "Are you the two that got married this morning? Can I take your picture??!!" but it was very cool.

Here we are riding away after the ceremony. Our group has been the top fund raising team there for the last 6 years so we get to lead the ride out so we're literally probably 10 or 20 positions out with about 2200 more people behind us. If you look in the picture below, you can see the huge line of people waiting to leave in the background.

We went out and rode the 50 miler. We usually do the 100 but we had family there and didnt want them sitting around for 6 hours waiting for us to finish so we shortened things up.
