I seen it posted that Roy Garcia won the TSM race at Reynolds and that he ran 9.5x in doing so... They put the iron heads on the little 109 for this race from what I heard so this would be a new record for an iron headed 109 motor (Roy previously held the record running 9.64 in TSM trim with the iron heads)... Gotta give the Miami boys some credit for showing the potential of an iron headed combination!!!

BTW, does anybody know what the MPH was on this pass?? Sure would like to know!

Hi Steve we where only able to go 9.65@140 this time out a few 9.7s on the foot brake but it seems the convertor is broken it was stalling way too high on the footbrake and not 60 footing very well the best one was 1.38 on the trans brake we went 1.35 on the footbrake at bradenton so theres a 9.50 or better in there somewhere . I like to thank Cal Hartline for all his help and his laptop could not have won without your help.

Sorry it took me a while to reply Laz and Roy, but I fainted at the thought of you guys with a FAST system. Now I know why you were sucking up at Orlando.

Congrats you two, you definately deserve it.

Nice, I'm sure once you get the converter fixed and have a little more time to play with the XFI Roy will easily raise the bar for the iron headed combinations! Probably at Bradenton in December

I believe they do in fact have the stock crank record, at least as far as I know. Anybody went faster with a stock crank??

Congrats to you guys and it was great having you two around.

P.S.
I think Laz wanted the XFI so he has a excuse to play video games while he is at the track.

Ted, As far as I know they are the quickest/fastest with a stock crank with a best ET of 9.35 at Bradenton and a best MPH of 146.89 at Reynolds last year... Keep in mind though that Bill from Champion is not far behind running a stock TTA crank in his Stage1 block with his light blue Turbo-T... I have seen this car run 9.40's at Bradenton a couple years ago at our Buick Bradenton event (who knows he might've even been faster??).. Cal would probably be able to tell you...

I'm still recovering from the injury when they dropped the car off the jack when I was under it looking at the crank flange. ;)

They are going faster than Bill went. Bill now has a 3.625 crank in his new engine.

As quickly as they are getting a handle on the XFI, their TSL combination is going to be hard to beat.
