Over a period of time all of our consoles will peel, get scratched, or scuff up. I fixed this one today with Kirbans kit in under an hour time...

Tools I used.....exacto knife, phillips screwdriver, flat blade, and windex :)

First I lifted the ashtray cover and took out the 2 phillip screws. Next you take the retainer out of the shift handle (passenger side under shift button) with the flat blade. I then took the unit over to my desk and stripped the old worn out applique off of it. This next part was the most time consuming. You have to be careful to get the glue off of the unit. I used my exacto knife with a flat razor to scrape all of the glue off as pictured. Once all of the clue is off you can apply the new applique. It really does look so much better and was very simple. I have done a ton of these but never posted it on here. Enjoy, I hope this helps someone out :cool:

Ok, time to update this. I liked how the Kirbans one turned out so I thought I would get a Tr Customs one for one of the T-types.... WOW! I love how thick the Tr one is! The only drawback would be the mounting tape.... It doesn't seem to be enough in places. Honestly tho... I don't care, the Tr Customs one is Very Very nice!!! I will be buying more!!! As we all know, a post without pics is worthless:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
