Trany built buy Bruce at PTS about 4 years ago.

I am at 7,000 ft and have to really put my foot in the gas to get the car going. Feels sluggish. Once the boost kicks in it really takes off.

I think a converter will help the car build boost quicker?

Would like some suggestions.

2800, 3200... Would like to keep it streetable and I don't race it but if some ricer wants to run... ;-)

thanx all.

One more thing

I am really fighting the breaks. At a dead stop and take my foot off the breaks the car really moves forward.

It's hard to beat a good 3200 on the street. I have a Vigilante and WAY more in the combination and the 3200 works like a stocker in normal driving in that you don't realize it is a 3200. Another member here locally had close to the same setup as yours with the addition of a 206/206 roller and he also has the Vigilante. Car has super fast spool with stock turbo and intercooler but he has 30# injectors and propane injection. Also I have heard the PTS 10" converters are great. Never had experience with those though.

A 2400 would be good at sea level with the stock turbo. At your altitude I'd go with something in the 2800 range, especially with a stock motor.

Thanx for the advice

I will work on th funds and get ahold of Bruce. I will post back when installed and tested.
