This same question comes up every spring for some reason. There is a board member that owns one but he doesn't get on very often. Doing this conversion weakens the chasis and causes other issues at the same time. I wouldn't even think about doing it if you plan on doing more than just cruising in it.

I think they look better with a full hard top. I would like to drive it though just for the hell of it.
