convertor leaking?

Havnt crawled under car yet bit I can def see something on the pipe right Under convertor, maybe a Lil off center towards the pass side. Happens even more when I mess with trans brake. Even tho I have never actaully launched with it.... Also i smell sonthin weird after I t brake it n build boost any ideas?


P.s. My convertor is a vig 5 disc 3200 stall

I have had a brand new converter leak at a seam before I doubt that is your problem. The first thing you need to do is get some brake clean and spray the tranny and pipes. Get off all the old fluid that has caked everywhere. Then start it and see if you can find the leak.

You are probably going to find that the fluid is engine oil, leaking at the rear main seal.

How much r the seals? And how long does it take to put it. I'm gunna clean it like u said today and run it and I will get back to u guys
