Hey guys. After sitting all winter, I noticed today that my lower coolant hose was all extra greasy looking today. I put a little shine jiz on it when I detail the engine bay, of course. But I don't drench the thing. And I haven't touched the thing since November.

So I rubbed my finger on it and looked at it out in the sun. It appeared to be greenish! The hose feels good and firm and doesn't have any signs of rips or micro cracks or rot. Could coolant slowly be sweating through the rubber? Does this happen when they get old? I've never seen this before.

I wonder if the green tint is some kind of mold. Years ago I had a '23 T bucket that had rear tires that had real rubber in them. They would turn green as hell when they sat.

Thank's guys. Just one more thing. If it turns out that I need one, who sells the silicone replacement hoses?
