vacumm6,before a friend of mine sold he's gn it had the t66 on it with other mods.the turbo really pulled strong but in my opinion it needs heads,cam,non-lockup converter healthy stall, with the proper fuel.my friends gn came on strong at 60+mph but was in my opinion much to late for a street race, but on a track on a tbrake it would have hauled.

vacumm6,don't quote me but if i remember correctly around 3000 and it was a lockup, cam pulled strong to 5600 rpm, heads were stock ported.

Vacuum 6, I don't know if this will help you, But we have 3 in our area. We have the BB option with the new F1 wheel. With 3200 9/11, heads and small cam, stock location intercooler, It pulls easy low 1.60 60ft with ET streets and 3 to 4lbs launches. At reynolds I went 7.10 1/8 @ 99 and 11.25 @ 125 1/4, 23lbs Alcky and pump gas. Love it on the street. We found that the best set up is with the BB option and with the F1 S trim wheel 63 pte ext. housing. Killer on the street and pulls very hard.

The ET in my sig was with the old style 66BB-ptrim .63 and 20# boost, it worked well with GN1 heads and a 212-212 roller. I now have the newer version with the HP compressor / S-trim exhaust and .85 Precision housing. It definatley pulls way harder in the top end.

Nice run! Were you locking the converter on that pass?

Thanks guys for the info. My TE60 just started leaking oil so its time to upgrade. It’s a toss up between the CPT66 and 6776BB. I like what I've read about the CPT66. Currently I have a 12" LU 2800 stall so I’m not sure how it will run but I do have heads and a cam. ;)

On the CPT66 with the 4" compressor housing is the angled IAC required? Do the stock oil lines bolt up? Lastly does the wastegate hole need to be ported if using an internal wastegate?

Grumpy had a 66BB then switched to a 67DBB. He said the 67DBB spooled noticably faster and pulled harder.

87GN D, Not on this run. It's a new set up for me. I locked it up to early the first run and it killed it.

I don't think you'll like either with a 12" converter.

I had a CPT-61bb and it was noticeably better with a 9x11 than a re-stalled stocker.

I ran mine for a while with a stock converter and was a little slow to spool up. Adjusted the ALKY to come in at 7 lbs and was a very noticable diff. I now have GN1 heads, home ported stock intake, 218/212 roller, with a 3400 ART carr. WOW this thing is incredible on the street. I am happy with it. Mine is a new style F1 p-trim with an S cover .63 exh.
Call Mr Cotton he probably has them on the shelf. Tell him phone guy sent you.

vacumm6,the t66 really needs more converter than the 12inch 2800.the new t66bb with the f1 wheel i have no experience with, but it's hard to believe even with bb you could make it work.its's a hard choice with turbo's out there but like you said you have the heads and cam, now add that converter and chose a turbo,i'm sure you can't go wrong with either one, good luck!

Thanks for all the responds. I'll keep you guys updated on what I do and how it works.
