They are Billet Specialties Street Lite's, 15x7 and 15x10's with stock size up front/325/50's in back. I should have gone 4" backspace up front due to WIlwood brakes, now they hit the top of the fender.....guess I need a third set.

you got me bison,all the help you gave me i deserved that one.and yes real ones,the one's that say about 800 on the treadwear rating....lol (and thanks for the advice that 66 screams)

800 treadwear rating. Lol. You will wind up in the woods with those. Id say anything with more than a 000 treadwear rating is like playing with a grenade with the pin pulled. Turn the boost up and see how it feels:smile:
 
i got it on 20 lbs now riding around the country side,pulls a whole lot harder.can't wait to put it on kill with slicks on the track...

To be honest im not too impressed with mine at 20 psi even with the timing at 28-29 degrees. Might run low 11's at around 119-120mph like that. I didnt notice any difference till i went over 23psi and revved over 5300 on mine and it had an old as dirt 44 with a .63 Garrett on it before i put on the 72 p-trim. From there it wasnt any different with the s trim till over 25 psi and over 5500rpm. The difference at over 5600+ and high 20's boost was huge with the s trim. To make the bigger wheels work you need higher boost pressures and rpm. The data logs dont lie. If DC goes up then you are making more power with the same a/f targets.
 
I bought a CPT66BB from a member and I'm curious to see how it works. I'm going to run in Pinks All Out this summer and I'm hoping I can run 11.5's on ET Streets. I don't have a roll bar so that's my limit. Looking at some of the times on this post I wonder If I'll hit it. Only one way to find out.

Now at some point I'd like to run the boost up and see if I can beat my PB of 10.99 from BG back in 96.

You should be able to beat 10.9 rather easily
 
Don't know yet what I'll run with my set up with at least 25#. Got some Chit talkers in this car club I hope to shut up......wish me luck, :smile: Hoping for some 6's......Track opens soon (1/8th mile).....I will post results though. :smile:

I hope so, mine is a P trim but it's still bigger than the turbo I had back in 96 but I don't have a FMIC like I did back then. I have a "spelling?"...Dequick stretched stock appearing IC. It seems to spool pretty quickly so I'm thinking it should work okay.

I was thinking of going with 60# inj w/o alky I wonder if they will have enough. I ran the 10.99 with 50# Bosch with no issues. I don't plan on more than 23# of boost. Down the road I'll go with larger injectors and FAST but the budget is tapped at this point. I just see most of the folks with similar set ups and 60's are running alky.

You have plenty of injector. Id be worried if on a single pump though. I ran 23-24psi on an old p-trim 2 years ago and got booted after the first pass which was a 10.88. My 60' sucked too. Most of the guys running 60's and alky are running about 40% duty cycle.

I have an in tank pump and a Bosch inline pump, kind of old school but it seems to work. So keep the boost down on the street or run race gas with the boost up.

Thanks for the info, I'll post my numbers this summer once I get it on the road and to a track. Still snowing here:mad:

I wouldnt trust that setup unless it was flowed under pressure. I had that several years ago and it went lean at 125mph and i was throwing a lot of alky at it. I had it at 15.5v too. We got about a foot of snow today:mad:
 
11.49 at 117 1.6 60 ft. cpt66 non bb on 17lbs of boost (reason for low boost is my alky wast spraying right so i didnt want to risk tearing it up). 212 roller cam and non ported champions

I plan on upgrading it, I always worried it could cavitate.
