My neighbor had a big party last night i actually stop by and dropped him a champagne bottle and a card, he asked me to stay for a bit and handed me a bottle of the famous Johnnie Walker BLUE LABEL.. It was actually pretty good.. Still prefer the Crown Royal Black.
What was the most impressive thing about his party was the huge Dinner they had a chef making. It's a latin dish called Paella a bunch of seafood with rice its delicious. Got a pic before we all ate.. Check it out..

Crown Royal and Coors Light here! Coors for hanging out, Crown for a night of drinking!

Back when I drank brown liquor it was Crown Royal and water when I could afford it. Seagram's VO when I was doing OK and Canadian Club if I was on a budget.

Now I'm a Vodka guy. Brands aren't of much importance anymore, either....since I'm chasing a shot with whatever is within reach and liquid. Ya' know, Orange Crush, Chocolate Milk, Lysol ...........

I believe the term is "Cheap Date".......... o_O

My favorite drink is Monkey 47 Gin. You wouldn't guess it's 94 proof, because it's the absolute smoothest drinking alcohol of any alcohol. You have to drink this one neat to really enjoy the flavors from start to finish. You want to mix gin, then use Bombay Sapphire. But no mix, chilling, or rocks needed here. It's made up of 47 organic ingredients, almost all, including the water comes from the Black Forest in Germany.

My go to beer is Russian River Brewery's Shadow of a Doubt. It's a smooth, super tasty, 9.86% Imperial Porter. Everytime I leave from there, I always grab a growler or 2 for the road. Another beer I really like is Anderson Valley's Huge Arker. This one's unique. It's a strong, tasty, 13.5% Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout, that's been aged for 6 months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels.

Smoothest tequila, also drank neat is Avion Reserva 44 extra anejo. A distant second would be Don Julio 1942 anejo. Any type of Avion tequila, including there Silver are top notch. Patron and most others are toilet swill.

Smoothest vodka is Ciroc. Followed by Hangar 1. Anything else(including Tito's) smells and tastes like rubbing alcohol.

I wholly and thoroughly disagree that Ciroc is anything near the best Vodka out there. It's actually just over-hyped, over priced pig piss.

But to each his own and my opinion is my opinion, just like that of others.

I'll say no more on the issue of Ciroc.

Strictly shots of Rumplemintz here, sad thing is, you can no longer get the original German made, now it's made in Canada, 100 proof showstopper!!!!!

Buffalo Trace Bourbon- neat (prefer in the fall and winter months)

Tried Espolo'n Reposado (not too bad- still had a tequila smell) I'm told the anejo is better (not a huge tequila fan)

Don Q- Rum

Beer- Pretty much any will work. I really like the Rogue Hazelnut Brown ( Guinness Stout is decent too)

That Russian river looks interesting. Where can that be found??

Around the house I like a chilled glass of Mad Dog 20-20. If I'm out with the lady I'll order us some Thunderbird to impress her. If I ever win the mega billions I might try some Old Grand Dad! I've always been a connoisseur of fine drink!!

"Rye Whiskey" Lyrics
Tex Ritter

Jack o' Diamonds, Jack o' Diamonds and I know you of old
You've robbed my poor pockets of silver and gold
It's a whiskey, you villain, you've been my downfall
You've kicked me, you've cuffed me, but I love you for all

It's a whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If I don't get rye whiskey, well, I think I will die

I'll eat when I'm hungry, I'll drink when I'm dry
If the hard times don't kill me, I'll lay down and die
I'll tune up my fiddle and I 'll rosin my bow
I'll make myself welcome, wherever I go

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die

Beefsteak when I'm hungry red liquor when I'm dry
Greenbacks when I'm hard up and religion when I die
They say I drink whiskey, my money's my own
All them that don't like me, can leave me alone

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die

Sometimes I drink whiskey, sometimes I drink rum
Sometimes I drink brandy, at other times none
But if I get boozey, my whiskey's my own
And them that don't like me, can leave me alone

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die

If the ocean was whiskey and I was a duck
I'd dive to the bottom to get one sweet suck
But the ocean ain't whiskey and I ain't a duck
So we'll round up the cattle and then we'll get drunk

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If the whiskey don't kill me, I'll live till I die

My foot's in my stirrup, my bridle's in my hand
I'm leaving sweet Lillie, the fairest in the land
Her parents don't like me, they say I'm too poor
They say I'm unworthy to enter her door

It's a whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If I don't get rye whiskey, well, I think I will die

Sweet milk when I'm hungry, rye whiskey when I'm dry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die
I'll buy my own whiskey, I'll make my own stew
If I get drunk, madam, it's nothing to you

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die

I'll drink my own whiskey, I'll drink my own wine
Some ten thousand bottles I've killed in my time
I've no wife to quarrel, no babies to bawl
The best way of living is no wife at all

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry
If a tree don't fall on me, I'll live till I die

Way up on Clinch Mountain I wander alone
I'm as drunk as the devil, oh, let me alone
You may boast of your knowledge an' brag of your sense
'Twill all be forgotten a hundred years hence

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, you're no friend to me
You killed my poor daddy, God damn you, try me
