What Mickey Thompson drag radials will fit on stock T turbine rims without rubbing.I do not want to roll or hammer anything.:rolleyes:Thanks in advance

Kevin

255/60/15's fit well. They are a 27"x9" tire. 26" tall is stock. These turbo cars like a tall tire, and I know you can run 275/50/15's and they are a 28"x10" tire, but I dont know how they run on a stock T wheel. I think most guys run them on widened rims, but I'm sure someone will chime in if otherwise.

On a stock wheel with no rolling etc, I would go with the tire mentioned above. 255/60/15
SHould work real well.

275/60-15 is 28inches tall. The 275/50 tires are shorter, but wider.

Exactly 275 is a stretch I had them on stock GN rims 255 is probably a better choice

Kevin...what's the backspace?

Thanks guys,I did do a search and found a few ideas also.I am looking at the 255/60/15 or the 275/6015.I like the height of the 275.I want to keep stock rims for the sleeper look:cool:.I am only looking at the Mickeys to keep the variables to a min but Is their a better tire than the Mickey:confused:

Kevin

The stock T rims have around 3 3/4 to 3 7/8 backspacing (my measuring isn't exact, but you get the idea). The 255/60's fit perfectly. I wouldn't go with anything wider on a 7 inch rim because the sidewall will be pinched in and the contact-patch won't be ideal. Here's a pic of the 255's on my car:

I had my aluminum T wheels widned to 9.5" & run 275 x 50.

On a 7" rim, I had to either keep pressure too low to prevent excess wear in the center of the tire, or run a higher pressure to keep the T from feeling squirley.

After running the 275/60/15 dr on t wheels i have noticed that the rim is really too small for that tire imo. As others have said the 255/60/15 would be a better fit. I am getting new wheels and will be going with 15x8 on the rear. Just not sure which wheels to go with yet.

I have a stock suspension GN with gbodyparts widend 15 by 8 GN wheels. I was going to go with the 255 60 15's but can I fit the 275 60 15's Bolt on and go or does it require spacers and stuff?

I got the same rims and jus put the same size tires in the rear. Works fine, no rubbing or anything
