Dash removal?

I just got the cage done on my T-type and got it back home. I had been planning to change the dash for a different color. Now the front bars ended up basically rubbing the dash on the sides and I'm wondering if that dash will ever be removable. I am thinking about removing the windshield and wondering if anyone's ever taken the dash out straight up through the windshield?

hey Kendall, it wont work that way. The dash is wider then the windshield. You should have replaced it before the cage! I think your sh$t out of luck. I removed several the proper way. I once tried to remove it through the windshield. The posts got in the way. especially withy your bars there you wont be able to angle it out.

Hey Kendall,

I was in the same situation!!

I removed the windshield and pulled the dash out, it is tight but can be done!!
