i agree feeback should be allowed by all...that is why it is feedback...the lounge is not the place for feedback..unlock his thread....i dont even know blownv6 so i have no dog in this...


Mods, quit protecting vendors from bad feedback. that is where this stems from btw

feedback needs needs remain just that and open to the public for comment...

BlownV6, your post is pointless. Rather than ranting, why dont you just give a synopsis and link back to your original thread. All youre doing here is asking for this post to be deleted like the last one.

Revise your post and Ill clean this thread. If not, dont be surprised when it vanishes too.

Jay, Sorry for the delay in reply!! My mother passed away at 12:31 this afternoon with 5 paramedics working on her for 20 to 25 minutes right in front of me and her sister. Suddenly all this BS is simply a waste of time!!!

Between the 4 post linked to and about this thread , there have been MANY people standing with ME in this fight!!! I see no one standing in oppisition!!!If you can , and/or choose to ignore the views of the people that occupy this site then have at it!! Im gone!!! Mike

Sorry to the Moderators but I cant believe the old thread would be locked. The TurboBuick community used to pride itself on how close knit the people are. If anything, the entire site should be rallying on behalf of MIke and the very unfortunate situation another member has put him through. I'm seriously disappointed. Giving Mike any hassle is not called for as Mike is a very stand up guy and has not gone overboard on any of his posts given the rediculous situation. Now the locked thread is going to go 6 pages back and not be read anymore. How can this be pushed aside?

What exactly do you expect us to do? Organize a lynching party and everyone head to Florida? You guys seem to have an unrealistic expectation of what we can and cant do.

The guy scammed Mike.. it sucks but he's pretty much vanished so the odds of Mike ever seeing a dime is slim to none. What can we, the community, do for Mike regarding this situation? Keep a thread open on a message board so everyone can post stuff that a guy isnt reading? How exactly does that solve anything?

Perhaps feedback threads should allow people with previous dealings with a person to post in them. But all this "YOU NEED TO PAY UP, YOU POS" replies do nothing for the Feedback forum.

I really dont see what you guys are trying to accomplish. On one hand, you want the guy banned. On the other hand, you dont. You want him to pay up, which he should, but if he gets banned then there is no communication with the guy short of email or calling him.

Im at a loss.. Id love to find a solution but Im just not seeing where this so called community "pressure" is accomplishing anything when people continue to do business with this guy despite the long thread in feedback. There are some things we can do.. like disable the guy's PMs to keep him from being able to communicate privately but that directly affects a resolution being reached.. How about we give scammers a custom user title of "TurboBuick.Com Known SCAMMER"... maybe then people would avoid him and there would be pressure to do the right thing. Or they could do what CB has done and effectively just vanish.

Honestly there is really nothing this site can do but closing the original thread just pushes it aside. I think the rules should be looked at a little more in depth. Allowing others to post comments keeps the thread going and grows more interest in the situation. I bet you the majority of the members have heard of this situation due to the amount of posters in the old thread. Thats what it's here for. Now if someone says outrageous comments like "F... Y..u!" and completely offensive remarks, delete them. But dont lock a thread like that one. I'm sure you can understand where we come from here?

I think it is not cool to close the original thread. I mean this is a feedback section and I have been burned twice on a forum verses none on ebay so I am a little scared when buying off a forum. I know it is damn near impossible but if it was not for the thread getting bumped I would have never read about this guy and if for some slim chance I saw something he had for sale I could have easily purchased it if I never saw the thread. Just my thoughts take it for what it is worth, probably nothing lol.
