Did this brake set up come on anything else? I have a friend that has a NOS one in the box but it does not have the nut end on the accum ball and there is no sticker on the ball either. What is a good price for a NOS set up?

original accumlator balls did not have the nut or the silkscreened yellow graphic.i have had a few over the years but most have been changed out by now with the kind you are accustomed to seeing

Hey Justin,
That is the first version or original accumulator ball just as James says and they had alot of problems with them. The second version from GM is the one with the yellow silk screen and nut on it. As far as it being from a full size ( 85-86 only) Buick, Olds or Chevy wagon the only difference was the brake fluid reservoir. Slanted on the wagon (for clearance) and straight across for the Turbo cars. Other than that they were identical. I'd gladly give $100 for it. HEE-HEE just being a smart A$$ there.

I'd gladly give $100 for it.

I wouldn't. It would be nice for someone's concours resto, but for anything that will be driven, they just need to be converted to something else IMO.

Anyway, a similar system found its way into some chrysler minivans and some chrysler FWDs, and a few jeep cherokees, in the early 90's. SUPPOSED to be a premium upgrade but I haven't ever seen someone bragging them up!

Also the turbo grand prix had the powermaster II.

They can be good units if taken care of. Mike was kidding about the 100$ it will take alot more than that to buy this. I also have a NOS reservoir :D
