Did they ever get DS worked out with XP?

Recently picked up a new laptop, and of course it has Windows XP.

I once read that DS does not work with XP and was wondering if they got that worked out... I think I also remembered something new was coming out from DS???


Any help on this?

I deleted XP and installed Win 98 and all is well.

i would suggest making a dos boot disk, or boot CD-ROM, this will enable you to boot with dos and run direct scan w/o making you delete XP

Thanks, I will check into that. I do not want delete XP... I'd rather pick up a cheap laptop for 250 and put DS on it then change my OS...
