Direct Scan & New Laptop.Parallel port

Hi All,

Considering a new laptop for home and looking at one from Dell and already have a cheapie I use for my Fel Pro and DS on wifes car.

In looking at the one from Dell it doesnt have a a parallel port on back so if I had to in a pinch I couldnt connect.

Question is anyone using a newer laptop with the same situation and if so how are you using it? Is there some type adaptor you could plug into another port or USB port then connect to back of parallel cord that goes to DS box?

I think they sell a usb to parallel port adapter because alot or the new laptops only have usb ports.HTH
