You can get ring terminals with star washers at Grainger.
I just found this article stating that GM does not recommend a star washer on chassis or body grounds...interesting...wonder what John Spina thinks of this.

Document ID# 1581142

Subject: All General Motors Passenger Cars, Trucks and Utilities Use of Star Washer on a Body or Chassis Ground - kw wire connector terminal starwasher star washer #PIT3353 - (01/07/2005)

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

Condition/Concern:
Use of a star washer under a ground wire connection. In the past, it has been known to use star washers under most ground connections.
It was believed using a star washer would improve continuity to ground and prevent the ground fastener from becoming loose. With vehicles built today, star washers are not being used under any ground connection.
It has been proven by GM engineering that with a star washer installed, it will increase the chance for corrosion and prevent the terminal from achieving proper torque.

Recommendation/Instructions:
It is recommend NOT to use a star washer on any ground connection to the body or chassis of the vehicle.

Sounds like they are talking about an extra star lock washer not a ring terminal with one built into it.

Aclean contact point and some good anticorrosive compound like dow corn dc4 or equiv and no need for starwashers imo

whats the best for grounding ..braided straps or strand wire cable ? pros and cons ? Thanks .

Braided straps may equal more surface area for electrons to travel across, if you subscribe to that theory.

Go to your local alternator/starter shop they should have everything you need.

I have everything . just trying to figure out whats best to use . :)

I know one place there is a star washer is in the passenger side door jamb on the fender for the antenna ground.

What works well for a ground strap is welding cable with ends soldered on. High strand count and very flexable so you get a really good ground.:D
