do not want to hack up center console help

i am going to a th400 and an aftermarket shifter and i do not want to destroy or cut into my center console does anyone sell an aftermarket one please help.i cant be the only one that has had this problem

i see that but thats the piece u have to hack up usually to get an aftermarket shifter to fit in there i am wondering if someone has made a piece that is already pre fabricated to fit an aftermarket shifter thx for the help

I use the gate plate with the stock shifter on mine...

I did see a GN that had an aftermarket B&M pro ratchet shifter that fit through the stock shifter opening. It may have had the reverse lockout removed, but I cannot be sure. thinking about doing that on mine, but I like how quick the action is with the stock junk. I removed the column linkages on my car as well so the shifter is extremely light and easy to shift.

Pretty much the only way to install an aftermarket shifter will mean hacking up the original. Just because it looks like a clean install up top, you have to cut away stuff underneath the console plate.
