Hello all,

Im new to this forum but was reffered to it by a friend.

I have a 91 syclone, stock heads, stock block, stock internals, stock cam, 60lb inj, walbro 255 pump, afpr, pt52, a2a, msd6, alky kit, electric fan, wb02

My best et at this point has been 11.68 on nitto 255's.

Im thinking about switching to e85 as it is available close to home, easier to tune for 1 kind of fuel than 2, and the benefits for keeping knock to 0.

I am starting the search process on your forums but any help as to what if anything i HAVE to change to start this project.

I am running code59 and the stock ecm, so its totally tunable and all the tuning stuff is in place.

You'll need to get a set of injectors that're 30% larger to supply enough Fuel to keep the engine alive. To do this go to full throttle and look at the forums. One guy got smart and used a Mercury Marine 4.3 L SFI intake so he could get bigger injectors.

You definitely need to replace all the rubber hoses in the fuel system, you need a new fuel filter, 30% larger (or more) fuel injectors, FAST or comparable adjustable or a custom chip, hot wire & voltage booster
(Casper or ??). Also, fresh gaskets, fresh spark plugs and wires, clean out your gas tank REAL good (E85 has high detergent properties so give your new fuel filter a break). And, of course, a capable fuel pump. You have replaced the aging rubber vacuum/boost hoses and zip-tied them to the fittings haven't you?

ps...let us know how your conversion goes!

Well one route is to do the swap as is and WB tune it at low boost and see where you're at.

From here turn it up a few lbs and see where you injector DC is at and AF/R and work your way up in psi while maintaining a 10.8-11.00 AF/R.

What weight is your SY?

You might be able to get away with your current level of power as is or with more base pressure. There is a way stronger fuel pump out that will help you go further if you mod heads-turbo etc.
