Sent him a message. I'll see what he has to say. Someone went through a lot of trouble to do that conversion.

I have sent a few messages to him with responces.. Once I asked for the pic of the RPO sticker and told him the Vin comes up as a N/A Limited the messages stopped coming from him. Search that Vin# on here, I found a post from June 2006 about this car...

That's a bone for sure. I found that thread. Someone probably took a hot box GN and converted that Limited and passed it off as a GN to some unsuspecting locals. It's had several owners since that thread in 06. Someone must have realized it was a fake. Definitely a fraud. Bet the bids are a shill bidder too. I might report it to ebay depending on his response.

My thoughts were it was re tagged.. I'm curious to see if he responds back to you.... The heater box looks kind of funky, well on my computer... Too bad, car doesnt look that bad. I would hate to see someone buy that though and get stuck with it

The mileage is wrong too. They put the digital dash in and there is about 10k mile less suddenly. The car check picked up on that as a possible odometer roll back. If the issues from 06 were addressed it might not be a bad car but not $10k. Maybe 4k. But I would bet it still has unresolved issues.

He obviously thinks that he's slick. Anyone who knows anything about these cars knows to look at the vin. When will the scumbags like this guy stop trying to pass off clones as real turbo cars? If your going to build a clone..... Fine, but don't try to cheat someone with a self built GN. IMHO building a clone isn't wrong, but if your selling it you must list it as a clone. There's plenty of converted cars out there with GN drivetrains or older GN's with newer GN engines etc. I just hate when people try to take the value and rarity of our cars and try to cash in on non turbo cars.

No response yet. If I don't hear from him by evening it's getting reported.
