I love bidding at the last minute. Makes it more fun and I don't waste my time bidding a few times on an item. Sorry, you're so mad dude, that's how auctions work.

People that bid on items before the last 10 minutes are idiots in my opinion,you spend a week driving the price higher and higher in some cases when you could have sniped it a lower price.
Most auction that have a ton of bids are most likely fake bids especially if its a reserve auction,then it gets left at the last bid to bring it to reserve by a real bidder
I personally snipe every auction i go for

Yeah i know there are other Options but getting the crank @$150 would have been alot cooler than paying 6 bills for it I almost cant justifly Spending 3-4 k to get everything back running when i can sell my parts make 3-4 k and have the cash to move to a Setup that lets me not have to run $10 a gallon race gas to be where i want to be and may hold up better

you guys are funny, but that is what auctions are for. had knew a few who would call each other or instant message each other and raise the price of stuff they had on auction if it wasn't bringing the price they wanted. talk about pissing people off when you out bid everyone and they know your not really going to buy it.

Probably bidding on the stroker crank on there? If so, why not just buy from someone who has it on sale and save yourself some $$$ and will help your blood pressure.:biggrin: Steel 4340 Cranks BTW, the sale is still going on.

Like when I picked up a 109 long block for $21.54 a few years ago The seller stuffed the title by leaving out spaces at the time, ebay search saw that as one whole word. I found it by browsing. The dude was pissed when I said I would report him to ebay if he didn't refund my money. He said he would only refund it if I left positive feedback. I said no and ended up getting the engine.

welllll thats shame on you ! $222. is a deal of the century !! Why didn't ya just do a bid with ebay that automatically bids up to your "highest" bid??? OR was $150 your highest you would have paid for it ??

I would have paid that ...i looked at the last 10 minutes and then started looking around and got distracted i should have obv put a higher # in .......the forged rods went for $170 i had a $150 bid in glad i didint get them as w/o the crank would have been pointless .....This is just a sign to Do a Twin turbo smallblock

Is there anyone here on this forum that's like under 25 years old? Aren't most here ADULTS? Chit, most can't even afford a GN till atleast 25.

Sometimes it seems the board rules are to protect kids who might flip back and fourth from watching cartoons.... Porn pictures I can understand but a little cursing is no more then one is gonna hear from the latest movie release or a book any Adult can buy at Barnes and Noble.

Cmon.... things are getten a little rediculous when people are offended because someone used a curse word. This is starting to sound like a Sunday school forum.
