I found a contact number for Erson cams here on the boards. and to ask for Steve. Number doesn't work. Anyone know where I can buy an Erson cam? Mr. Gasket states they no longer carry them. Any help is appreciated as I want to give this cam a shot.

They had very good cams but I think they are MIA Have you tried their website or there was a website years back.

Nada. I can only find old pdf catalogs. I know what I want and I'm not big on ebay if I can get it direct from a vendor and known new.

Thank you very much. His voicemail is full but at least the # works. I appreciate all the help in my quest for speed.

Interesting, I did not know that either. I was under the impression that Erson died with the whole Super Shops collapse in the mid 90's.

I believe they no longer make cams or parts for our cars:eek:I may be wrong here, but when I phoned this is what I was told last year:rolleyes:

I am running a recent Erson cam in my car, and just purchased 2 other for customers.

TA Performance is a distributor for them. :)

Whoever you spoke to on the phone was wrong cause I know someone who just recently got one of their cams and the cam he is running was recommended to him by Kenny Duttweiler!

Thanks for the input,I went on their website and they did not list any cams for our cars,so I phoned and was told that they no longer make them:rolleyes:Could it be they are only sold through Buick vendors:confused:Just curious

I can't get a call back from them. I'll try again tomorrow otherwise I'll give Nick M a call since he can get them. The guy I spoke with today did at least confirm that they still grind 'em for our 231's.

Erson still exists at one time I believe Mr Gasket owned them actually over the years Mr Gasket has bought and sold several well known companies including Hurst which later got sold to B & M shifters.

Erson is in Kentucky as shown in an earlier post....they are a good customer of ours for zddplus...actually one of 4 cam companies we sell to isky-crower-delta being the other 3......

denniskirban@yahoo.com

Its amazing how companies get bought and sold...side note at one time Hurst was actually owned by Sunbeam as in the toaster people.....
