Yes for sale.
Not really sure how to answer what comes with it?? I think Cal and others have posted some great info. I don't know car computers well enough to really have a conversion about them.

It comes with the following:
-ECU
-Adapter Harness
-Communication Cable

I don't think Peter is throwing in the 3 Bar map sensor.

This is a Fast Track Performance Harness.
I was the original owner of this box and it is a good piece.
This combination was on my TSM build.
You only have to run one wire, I can't remember which off the top of my head.

Horsepoer Connection Welcome to the Frontpage bought the rights to all the Fast Track stuff.
You could call or email him with questions. Cal Hartline would probably also know but out of courtesy I would not ask him since it was not his sale.

I pmd peter but I need some specific questions answered if you could help out? I am installing the engine into a 74 buick apollo hybrid project so I am not looking to make this plug and play. I have never run this system before so I have some questions:

1. Since this is not going into a stock GN I really dont need the adaptor harness other than for the plugs at the FAST box, correct? I will be building the engine harness from scratch.
2. Where do I get the software to program it?
3. This is sequential and not B2B?
4. In the pic the data cable looks to be serial, is there a usb cable available?
5. Does it have boost control options(can it be used as a boost controller?
6. Does it have fuel pump (on and off)_and cooling fan control (one or two)?
7. Are there any other selectable output options such as shift light(RPM switch), lock up convertor/switch pitch convertor(12v or ground output to control solenoid or relay)?
8. How old is this set up(if it fails can FAST or anyone else repair it)?

As long as I have the plugs at the box and wiring diagrams (if available), I have no issue making the harness and taking care of the wiring, I am just not sure what the capibilities of the box are and if it will work for my project.

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure this will work for what I am trying to do.

Thanks

Cal feel free to jump in also as it looks like I would also need to get an o2 and map sensor and maybe a start up map?:D

  1. You would not need the adapter harness
  2. http://www.fuelairspark.com/Software/SoftwareRegistrationContent.aspx?prog=7
  3. It is Sequential, Individual Fuel and Spark plus Wide Band O/2. It was the very top of the line when I bought it
  4. The first gen FAST boxes did not have USB ports
  5. I don't believe the systems have boost control, most people us an external IE: AMS 500 or 1000. You can find more information here: http://www.fuelairspark.com/Products/Documentation/C-Com/Help/index.htm
  6. You can definitely control the fan, I am not 100% sure about the pump control. Sorry it has been a while since I have use the system
  7. I am not sure, please check the link in line 4.
  8. The unit is from the late 90's, I don't remember the exact year. It was optioned at close to $3k. I have never looked at support for this system, so I don't know who could repair it.
Sorry if this doesn't help, I answered the questions as best as I could while putting my kids to bed.

Thanks John!! You are awesome.

I want this and piles of other parts GONE. $600 shipped ! Let's get this gone if not I will just keep it for another Buick :D
