Fast xfi 2.0 with air conditioning

I have an 86 GN with XFI 2.0..... Does the cooling fan ALWAYS turn on no matter what when the air is on?

OK, I was just thinking it shouldn't be on going down the highway. I wonder if the fan can be disabled at a certain speed....or mabey this isn't even an issue?

Stock the fan comes on with the AC and most other factory vehicles that I know of.

Its also designed to turn off at WOT.

I don;t like that feature its on one thing I want changed.

Because the car seems to run hotter, down the track with the fans off during WOT, especially when your transbraking the fans shut off is not good. Even on the street the car heats up fast if you get wot at low speeds. I don't like it

If you don't like it, just tie an Aux output into the Fan enable wire

Thanks Cal that is a simple and effective idea. Dr, boost;s method would work also, but i would keep forgetting to turn in off probably.
