The 1980 Turbo Trans Am was a brilliant idea, it was just too far ahead of its time and flat out didn't work. Pity Pontiac never went through with the plans to put it in the 82 Trans Am, with a few years development it would have been an asskicker for sure later in the decade when the technology came together as it did for the Buicks.

Id put another vote in for the STI. Id also like to add my old Kawasaki GPZ 750 turbo. When that boost kicked in, it was soo powerful. Digital fuel inj. injectors from the 300zx's, intercooler..awesome. 112 hp from the factory.

Yup! Someday I hope to own a Spirit R/T or a 89 CSX. I recently sold my Daytona Shelby Z, and I am currently restoring my 89 Shadow 2.5t/5sp sedan. I've doen a few neat things to it, digital dash, ported bathtub head, tubular manifold, etc, and I can't wait to get it done. Too bad the GN and my SS takes up too much of my time lol. I also had a 05 WRX STi. I loved that car and we hope to buy another soon!
