Car Has WORKING A/C and HEAT
THE TRANNY BROKE AT THE LAST TRACK OUTING, I BELIEVE IT BROKE THE BILLET DRUM OR BILLET INPUT SHAFT. CAR CAN BE SOLD AS IS OR I CAN FIX IT BEFORE SALE.
Engine has maybe 1000 miles on build and maybe 35 passes or so(10 passes actually running the car)I race 99% 1/8th mile, been to 1/4 mile once....One of the first passes on it(street tune)10.54@128. Went a 6.7@101 in the 1/8th that pass. That was last July, car has since gone 6.23@109.7 with more to go! thats a solid 9.7-9.8@138 or so. Trans shifts awsome, rock solid, no glidng shifts or anything. Rearend has maybe 250 miles on it. Tranny is fresh...except for broken part. Since this is a Feeler thread I don't want to post a price yet, I just need to se if there's any interest.

thanks,
Cody

well, i was going to see if there was even any interest in it. then if the person wants to buy the car with the broke tranny or if i need to fix it. price will depend on that.

Tell us a price with a broke transmission. Im interested. Post some pics as well, or email me some.

ok, 17k w/broke tranny. should cost around 800-1000 to fix. hard to say without tearing into it. but im betting the billet input shaft or billet forward drum! when a heavy car 60' in the mid 1.3's it's hard on stuff.lol

Posting pics on the board will definately get more attention. Sounds like a really nice car.

hopefully this works, here are a some pics, i can send more.

here are a few more, i do not have a passenger seat in the car right now. the drivers seat reclining mechanism broke on me, from launching at the track. so i put the passenger seat on the drivers side, temporary. i was going to put a nice racing seat on the drivers side and more the passenger seat back over, but im selling the car now.

i do not have a 9sec slip. nearset 1/4 track is 2hrs away, i have 3 1/8 tracks that I always go to. i have made exactly 3 1/4 mile passes when i first got the engine in the car. street tune, 10.54@128 is what it ran, ran a 6.70@102 in the 1/8th. i have since dialed in the race tune and turned the wick up. 6.23@109.7 is what it has run....it runs pretty consistent. conversion chart says a 9.70. thats well in the 9's.....so I think its safe to say it's a 9sec car, dont you?

and if track conditions are good, it consistently 60's in the mid 1.30's. on 14-16lbs launches.

yes, im selling the car. i have a possible local buyer, he's looking at the car on Sunday...i posted this because he has not told me yes or no. so i'm trying to get a head start incase he doesn't buy the car
