First GNX Scheduled For Sale To Public

Please Inform Me As I May Be Wrong, But I Have Heard That The GNX Cars Numbered 001 To 010 Were All Built And Finally Given Away To GM Officals Associated With The GNX Project, If This Is True Would GNX Car Number 011 Be The Very First Car That Was Built And Scheduled For Sale To The General Public ?

GNX #006 was at Kirban's Reunion Event on Sunday 9/16 ( as was #547 and 8 or 9 others ) They said #006 was the first available to the public. You could call Dennis Kirban to verify that info.

Would any Documentation exist that GNX #006 would be the very first car scheduled for sale to the general Public ? Thanks

I believe that 001 is in the GM museum. I could have got a GNX for 22k back when I bought the 87 new. Should have did it

Well here's what Iv'e been told by my buddy that bought #5 GNX. He bought it from Lou Webb who owns some BIG GM dealerships in CA. He says GM kept #1 (as we all know) and that 2-3 and 4 where bought up by top GM officals so 5 was the first one to go to a dealer for puplic sale.

I know who has #002 with full documentation, however, I am pretty sure that when it was built it wasn't available to the public.

Nope, I have been in #001. Many others on this board have seen it also. From a few posts back....#500 is owned by Buick and is kept in the Sloan Museum, Buick keeps #001.

This could be true as there was a very similiar post about 1.5 years ago on this very same subject, maybe same #'s. There was also a GNX sold in Ca about 3 years ago that fell into this story. Possibly the ones ahead of it were never scheduled for sale and were given to Corp exec's.

Oh, I think I know her. She once dated my ex-step-brother-in-law's 2nd cousin once removed's great-great uncle's half-sister's father-in-law's adopted son. Yeah, wasn't that one of the special "FBI" cars?
