Just want to congratulate my friend Dave. He ran an 8.28@172.21 last weekend. This was an OUTLAW pass.

Awesome number! Outlaw or not, congrats Dave!

Wow, that is some SERIOUS MPH!!!! Congrats to Dave, but please tell us what makes this an Outlaw pass? Was it the weight of the car or was Dave using a bigger turbo??

Either way that is super impressive from a stock suspension V6 and I'm ASSuming he was still on the 325 M/T radials.

WOW 172 is haulin' looks like he will be the man next year for TSO
CONGATS TO THE WHOLE FISCUS TEAM!
Mike

Wasn't he also the man this year;)
Otto my friend, I would never take anythign away from Dave, he had the fastest car all year but Ted A. did win 3 out the 4 events he went to and I believe the TSO Top Gun points series too. In my book that makes Ted the man for 2008 in TSO. I know Ted's car pretty well and I have a hard time believing he is going to make a 172 pass in near the current trim. So my hat is off to the Fiscus crew

Ted is the TSO points series champion and point series ET record holder. He won Columbus and Osceola.
Dave won Bowlng Green and Norwalk and is the GSCA record holder. They raced each other twice this year and each won once.

In legal trim, both cars have shown similar performance.

Congrats Dave. I think those cable ties we put on in Norwalk must have helped ya out a little..

WOW! 172 mph! 86, outlaw trim means it wasn't either a qualifying or eliminations pass at a TSO event with the car weighed after the pass. In this case to pick up that much mph I have to think he was testing a new turbo, but that is sheer speculation on my part :-). Way to go, Dave!

Dave, that is just insane sick power you are making with your car. That must have been quite a ride. Congrats on your accomplishments, you have set the bar so high that I don't think will ever be touched.

Dave has a history racing this class and to come into the class and line up against a champion racer you need to know that you better be on your game, especially when they are bringing big power to the table.

To think a year ago we thought 160 was something to be seeing at the events, now we will have 170. I don't think that TSO has ever had this much ground covered in one year.
