Help!

I just put a 4.1 into my '67 Jeepster with a 3 speed manual tranny, and am trying to find a flywheel. People keep telling me that all the 4.1's had automatics. Is that true? Do you all know where or if I can find a flywheel for this thing?

Thanks for the help,
Mike

Centerforce made a steel one for the even fire 3.8/4.1, but the balance on it not accurate out of the box. Make sure you balance the rotating assembly with the fly wheel or you will have one hell of a vibration that could potential crack the crank and/or block.
When I bought one back in 1999 or 2000 they were the only ones making one and it was about $250 IIRC.

Do you have any idea how much the centerforce flywheel weighs? The one from my oddfire 225 was something like 65 pounds.

Thanks for the info. That is a big help.

Mike
