It could be an addon issue. The only way I can diagnose that is to have someone work with me while I disable addons.

Sorry, multiple click issues still here. Maybe I'll investigate upgrading to IE10. I'll go check on my wife's desktop (IE10) and see how it's doing on here.

Nope, on IE10 and still have the multiple click issues. :(

I cant duplicate it and I have IE10 open here trying it. Are you letting the ad load all the way?

Still doing the non stop click on IE with me too. I just use Firefox when I come on here...and all's well.:)

Switched to firefox and it's faster but for some reason it's still trying to redirect to a different page. If I had the time I'd work with you on this Jay but I'm working from 0000 to 0800 for the next 5 nights and got called in early tonight.:(

This is odd, I am on my moms old computer running ie8 and no problems...

Here's a detailed description of what's happening on my PC's (doesn't matter whether it's IE9 or IE10)
When I click on the link to bring me to tb.com I have it set to come up on the main forums page. Does this just fine

Then I look for a forum of interest and click it.

Then I browse the forum and choose a thread to view and click on it to enter. May or may not enter the thread on the first click, kinda random but usually not.

When done, I hit the back button to leave the thread. Works OK.

Then I click the back button to leave that forum to get back to the "main" forums page. It does not leave and the display is at the top of that forum page

Then I click the back button AGAIN to leave that forum to get back to the "main" forums page. the screen flickers and I'm still in that forum but further down the list where I was when I selected a forum to enter.

Clicking the back button yet again gets me back to the "main" forums page.

Make sense?

Interesting.. now that you describe it, Im having that same issue but not just here, everywhere. And Im not using IE, Im using Chrome. I chalked it up to Google screwing something up in the last Chrome release.

Im going to have to research this.. I have the issue on any site whether its a forum or not. Wonder if its a java issue or something.

Do all the people who are having this issue also have a google account?

In my particular case, I don't suffer this issue on Chrome. AND, I don't suffer this issue on ANY other site in IE.

Yea.. well, I can see that. Do you have a Google account?

I have a gmail account and am having the same problems.

Two more things I'm having issues with. These seem to be PC related as I have no issues with my ipad.
1. Some times I cannot go to another page when tb.com is open in the browser. I have to close the tab and open a new one.
2. On my home PC (uses IE) I often get an error that a script is taking a long time to load. I think it has something to do with the google add loading. My work PC (also IE) doesn't have this problem.

For those of you with a Google account and IE, try this:

  1. Go to your google account settings
  2. On the account tab, find the last section on the page (named Services)
  3. Click the “Go to Web History” link
  4. The new page will list your recent searches. Click the gear on the upper right and select Settings
  5. The pause button lets you turn search history off.

Please try the above. This is apparently a common problem with IE.

This is one work around I found when Googling.

I'm having difficulty with those steps. I.E. finding account settings, and account tab etc.

Are those steps something I'll find on my main screen when opening Chrome? Because I can't seem to find them. I am signed into my Google account.
And you mention a "gear". I never see a "gear" when using chrome, just when using IE.
