Have all my stuff in the case, and doing the air checks (2004r).

All of them seem to be fine except the forward check.

I apply 60psi to the hole, and I have to make a real good seal against the hole so no air escapes to hear the piston move, and then it wont hold any pressure, its all leaking out somewhere I can here a hiss, however I can here the piston move

is this normal?

That's pretty much normal when checking it with air. Your hearing the air leaking around the seal rings on the shaft inside the center support. Once oil pressure is applied the rings will seal against the center support. It is possible one of the seal rings came out during assembly but if the piston is moving I doubt it. I wouldn't worry about it. :)
