What causes forward clutches and steels to overheat? Since they apply and stay applied all the time why would they ever go bad? I can see if a pump went bad and pressure dropped really low. Can they be over powered with stock pressures?

missing seals, nicked lip seals, low oil level

buttered floor?that is what kentucky jelly is 4
You liked the buttered floor:biggrin: . I dont know what Kentucky jelly is for. Its next to the condoms in all the pharmacies.

You may have forward drum without a checkball capsule(meant for use with aluminum piston that contains bleed hole) and using a steel piston without bleed causing the piston to drag clutches when engine is rev'ed.
